Golden Charme Suite

Accessibility statement

Last updated: 17 July 2026

We want this site to be usable by anyone. The stated target is level AA of the WCAG 2.2 guidelines and the European standard EN 301 549. Verification is still under way, so we do not yet claim a conformance level. Once the check is complete, this page will report the outcome.

Current status

The site was built with the WCAG criteria in mind, but the accessibility check has not been completed. That is why we claim no conformance level: doing so before the verification would be a statement the facts don't yet support. This page will be updated with the outcome and with any exceptions.

What is already in place

  • Animations and smooth scrolling switch themselves off automatically if your system has the “reduce motion” preference enabled.
  • Menus, links and buttons are native interactive elements and can be operated from the keyboard.
  • Images that carry meaning have alternative text; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
  • Text colours were chosen by calculating the contrast ratio against every surface they appear on, not only the main one.
  • Page content is present in the HTML served by the server, so it can be read without JavaScript; the interactive features do need it.

Known limitations

  • A full check with a keyboard and a screen reader has not been carried out yet.
  • Some sections use scroll-linked animation: it switches off with the system preference, but there is no control on the site itself to disable it.
  • The newsletter form is a demonstration and sends no data.

Reporting a problem

If you hit an obstacle on this site, or you need something in a different form, write to goldencharmesuite@libero.it telling us the page and the difficulty you ran into. We'll try to fix it and to get back to you.

Method and scope

This statement covers the Golden Charme Suite website and was prepared on 17 July 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment carried out during development. We publish it as good practice: it is not the declaration made using the AgID model under Italian Law 4/2004, which applies to public bodies and large companies.

This document is a template prepared alongside the website and is not legal advice: have it reviewed by a qualified professional before relying on it.
