No Data Protection Officer has been appointed: the business does not fall within the cases where the Regulation requires one.

We do no profiling and take no automated decisions about you. IP addresses and cookie identifiers are personal data — which is why any statistics tool would count as non-essential and would require your prior consent.

• Technical server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time): collected automatically by the hosting provider in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Emails you send us (address, name if you give one, message content): processed to reply to you and to handle a possible enquiry about a stay. Legal basis: responding to your request and pre-contractual steps, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Cookie preferences: your choice stays in your browser and is never transmitted to us. Legal basis: consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, where applicable.

The “Keep up with the suite” form at the bottom of the pages is a demonstration: it is not connected to any newsletter service, it sends nothing, and it stores no address you type into it. While that remains true, filling it in results in no processing at all.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.), which acts as a processor purely for the technical delivery of the pages and may operate outside the European Economic Area on the basis of the safeguards in Chapter V of the GDPR. The mailbox is provided by Libero (Italiaonline S.p.A.).

We share the data with no one else, we do not sell it, and we do not publish it.

Emails stay in the mailbox for as long as needed to answer you and handle your stay, and afterwards for the period required by law. Technical logs are retained by the hosting provider according to its own retention periods. Your cookie preference stays in your browser until you delete it.

You can ask us at any time for access to your data, for it to be corrected or erased, for processing to be restricted, and for portability; and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you can withdraw it whenever you like — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of what was done before.

To exercise these rights, write to goldencharmesuite@libero.it. We will reply within one month. If you believe the processing breaches the Regulation, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or go to court.

The site is served over an encrypted connection. This policy may be updated: the date at the top of the page shows the last revision.
